Photo:  Andrew Moore, in Ballon, Hilary, and Kenneth T. Jackson (editors), Robert Moses and the Modern City: The Transformation of New York, W.W. Norton & Co., New York (2007), pp.28-29.
Jackie Robinson Park contains a pool, a bathhhouse and recreation center, a bandshell and dance terrace, and three play areas. Around and among them, it is also a park with greenery, paths, fences, entrances, steps, and infrastructure. These too are New Deal creations. This photo shows a piece of the park between 145th Street and the pool and recreation center.
