Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico. "The footings for the dining room and hotel complex were laid in February 1937 and completed by October of that year, along with fixtures such as the lunch counter and stools. By October of the following year, the dining-room tables and chairs had been colored and stained and were ready to be installed. Note the fine carving on the dining-room chairs, the Santa Clara or San Ildefonso Pueblo pot on a shelf in the corner, the New Mexico folk-art tinwork wall sconces, and the pueblo-inspired ceiling construction."[1,p.88]
