McCarren Play Center in 1936. This and several other photos in this section marked "Probably NYC Parks Dept, found on New York YIMBY" are identified at the YIMBY site as follows: "NYC Percent for Art Program, Mary Temple, Artist, MP Engineers, P.C.; McCarren Park Play Center, May 24, 2016, LPC Review; DPR, DCLA, Double Sun, Historic View(1936)". I haven't been able to find other copies of the same photos but they are almost certainly either from the Parks Department or the Municipal Archive.
