The Burnett Memorial Fountain
Central Park, at center of its "south wing", just as the Untermeyer Fountain
(Three Dancing Maidens
is at the center of the "north wing". Embury designed the fountain in 1936
as the setting for the 1926 Girl and Boy statue of Bessie Potter Vonnoh.

children’s book author Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924). Designed
by Parks' Chief Consulting Architect Aymar Embury II

was created in 1936."
