Old Albuquerque Municipal Airport, 1930s or 40s postcard showing passengers and crew on the promenade and the tarmac, and a Douglas DC-3 — one of the first land-based airliners, introduced in 1936; many are still flying today. The DC-3 also served in World War as the C-47 Skytrain, most famously in the Normandy invasion.
